Location: the hotel was close enough to surrounding garden as well as a six hundred year old monastery which has been converted into a B and B. The atmosphere created was quiet! The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was quiet.

Characterful building with good-sized rooms. Pretty courtyard for aperitifs and dining outdoors. Well-located, away from busy streets yet close to restaurants. Run by friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs and cappuccino.

I had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel in Erice. The atmosphere was peaceful and the location was very interesting, being in an old monastery. The room was basic but comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the high ceiling. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of breads and pastries, and plenty of fresh fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient right outside the entrance. I highly recommend Il Carmine Dimora Storica for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Erice.

Absolutely loved the fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to Walls Monument - I've been here multiple times and would definitely come back.

The variety of dishes, prepared with the best local and organic produce by chef Antonino, is like entering a culinary monastery. It's a heavenly start to the day!

The hotel was clean. the staff was especially helpful for a 3-star property. - I had a brand-new and reasonably large room with thoughtful touches. - the nice bathroom had a spa plus there was 1 double bed. - the location was historic for walking around Maria Santissima Assunta. - the area was gorgeous, making it an incredible base for me. - I had the most peaceful stay in a long time.

The value for money at this hotel was fantastic and the room was spacious, the largest we had in Sicily. The location was perfect, just steps away from one of the entrance gates to the charming old hilltop village. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to help us with printing our boarding passes and providing helpful information about the area.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more fresh fruit.
